This Accountant II position will support our investment and tax accounting team with the main focus being investment.

What you will do:


  • Assist with periodic investment reporting over the investment portfolio.
  • Operate as the primary liaison with investment service providers to ensure optimization of services and products. Ensure accurate and timely recordkeeping of all transactions within the various platforms.
  • Lead the development of new processes to optimize accounting workflows in concert with technology platforms.
  • Escalate exceptions and issues affecting accounting records and valuations to management. Assist with issue resolution.
  • Perform general ledger account analysis and reconciliation of investment accounts.
  • Prepare supporting tax accounting & tax compliance workpapers.
  • Develop income tax accounting and compliance skills.
  • Coordinate with third-party tax consultants.
  • Responsible for W-9 supplier requests.
  • Perform general ledger account analysis and reconciliation of income tax accounts.


Bachelor’s Degree in accounting or related field Required


3-5 years of experience in accounting Required and in public accounting Preferred
