We are seeking a highly motivated Audio-Visual Installation Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing fundamental installation tasks related to audiovisual projects. This role requires a keen eye for detail, technical proficiency, and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform installation tasks for audiovisual projects, encompassing but not limited to pulling cable, installing connectors, mounting projects, and executing metal fabrication as required.

  • Read and interpret electronic schematics and architectural blueprints to facilitate precise installation and integration of AV systems.

  • Utilize hand and power tools proficiently to solder, crimp connectors, and perform various other AV systems-related tasks essential to the installation process.

  • Assist in basic mechanical fabrication and the wiring of racks to contribute to the successful completion of projects.

  • Travel to various job sites as necessary to carry out installations and support project requirements.

  • Execute other duties as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in addressing additional responsibilities as needed to support the team and project objectives.

Key Qualifications:

  • Practical experience in installing and integrating AV equipment from industry-standard manufacturers like Crestron, QSC, Biamp, and Extron, contributing to successful project completion.

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Proven experience (minimum of 1-2 years) in basic audiovisual installation or related field.

  • Proficient in effectively communicating with employees, customers, and colleagues to ensure seamless collaboration and project success.

  • Ability to utilize hand and power tools safely and efficiently during installation procedures.

  • Demonstrated capacity to work independently, think critically, and consistently meet deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.

  • Basic computer knowledge to assist in project-related tasks and documentation.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of industry-specific software or systems related to audiovisual installations.

  • Ability to interpret technical drawings or schematics.

  • Demonstrated capability in installing various video wall configurations, including LCD, LED, and projection-based systems, ensuring optimal visual impact and functionality.

  • Proven expertise in the installation and integration of PTZ (Pan-Tilt-Zoom) cameras.

  • Familiarity with various audio and video signal types and their connections.

  • Technical certification or relevant coursework is preferred.

  • Skilled in setting up and integrating video teleconferencing systems (VTC) across platforms like Zoom, Microsoft Teams, or Cisco Webex.
