Summary

This role entails executing various Engineering department tasks, encompassing design, research, prototyping, engineering documentation, estimating, and process improvement.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with purchasing, estimating, customer service, and the shop team to collaborate on design projects.
• Utilize Solidworks to generate product models and drawings.
• Conduct research on novel materials, equipment, and manufacturing-related advancements.
• Organize and upkeep existing engineering records.
• Thoroughly document the design process throughout its stages.

Requirements

• Possession of a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
• At least 5 years of professional experience in a manufacturing or production setting.
• Prior experience in quality control or business process engineering.
• Previous proficiency with Solidworks and AutoCAD software.
• Mechanical Engineer with experience in manufacturing and/or expertise in injection molding.
• Experience in designing molds, handling various processes, working with automation, and possessing a broad range of engineering knowledge.
