Location: Hybrid onsite in Newark, NJ

The Role:

Seeking a strategic and creative Graphic Designer to join the Group Insurance (Association) Business. The candidate will have exceptional design skills, be proactive and collaborative, and be a conceptual problem solver. Excellent attention to detail. Focused mostly on email, direct mail and other marketing print materials. Must be able to pay attention to print specs (for example, bleed guidelines etc.) Lots of versioning

Graphic designer will generate creative concepts from brainstorming to final execution that align to (B2C) business objectives. Marketing assets range from highly personalized direct mail campaigns, social and email campaigns, trade shows, video/animation, presentations, to digital experiences.

Requirements:

• Be an expert in design, creative concepting, and in the production of the work.

• Ability to manage multiple creative projects simultaneously, from conception to completion ensuring timely delivery.

• Ensure brand consistency across all channels–while managing multiple brands.

• Bring new ideas to the team by leveraging industry best practices/trends.

• Ability to present work to team and business partners–not afraid to put bold ideas in front of the client.

• Strong communications & collaboration skills.

• Partner with Strategists, Copywriters, Project Managers, Production, and UX Team.

• Be customer obsessed and bring a positive, can-do attitude to the role.

• Hybrid work environment with onsite location of Newark, NJ.

Expertise:

• Bachelor’s degree in art or design required.

• A minimum of 3-7 years or more of design experience in digital and print, preferably with B2C direct marketing approaches.

• Portfolio showcasing a range of design and creative solutions.

• Develop strategically based, innovative concepts that drive business.

• Knowledge of both print and digital best practices.

• Must be able to work both independently and collaboratively.

• Adobe Creative Suite, Ceros, Workfront, MS office.
