Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced HR Generalist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in human resources, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and performance management. The HR Generalist will be responsible for managing the full HR lifecycle for our virtual assistants, paralegals, and other legal support staff.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the recruitment process, including job postings, screening resumes, and conducting interviews
Facilitate new hire onboarding, including orientation and training
Handle employee relations issues, including conducting investigations and resolving conflicts
Manage performance appraisal process and provide guidance to supervisors and employees
Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations
Maintain HR records and prepare reports as needed
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field
3+ years of experience in human resources, preferably in a virtual staffing or legal environment
Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
SHRM-CP or PHR certification preferred
