What does an Integration Architect do for ATG?
An Integration Architect at ATG plays a key role on both strategy and implementation projects by bringing the essential expertise required to implement integrations between multiple systems within the Quote-to-Cash landscape, including CRM, CPQ, Contract Management, Billing, Finance, and ERP systems. This role works closely with customers, internal functional managers, business system analysts, and developers in creating robust, scalable and flexible solution architectures for the customer’s business systems. Activities in this role include designing prototypes, building proof of concepts, preparing solution architectures road maps, and managing project teams with integrations for enterprise systems and applications within the Quote-to-Cash landscape. Serving as a technology expert and evangelist, the Integration Architect will also provide integration thought leadership to the greater cross-functional team.
What are some of the responsibilities of an Integration Architect?
- Build solution design, solution architecture, architecture roadmaps, prototypes, proof-of-concepts, and perform development tasks in support of current and new projects which require integration with enterprise systems and applications.
- Act as liaison between Technical team, Functional team, and Business Functions to drive implementations.
- Be recognized as a functional expert in iPaaS technologies and common integration design patterns.
- Guide technical teams to deliver a flexible and scalable solution, provide mentorship and supervise developers, as well as participate in pre-sales activities and internal initiatives as required.
- Work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with cross-functional teams internally and at customer sites.
- What are the minimum requirements to be an Integration Architect?
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field highly desired.
- Minimum 7 years’ experience as a team member of successful integration projects related to SaaS, Quote-to-Cash, CRM or ERP and minimum 5 years’ experience in the capacity of an Integration Subject Matter Expert in a consulting organization.
What other skills, knowledge and qualifications are needed to be an Integration Architect?
- Applied work experience in architecture, design, implementation and deployment of cloud (iPaaS) products and solutions within medium to large environments.
- Strong Technical background, Analytical, and Problem-solving skills are required.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment of cross functional and cross vendor teams, and deliver to aggressive timelines.
- Possess strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to speak to technical and executive levels.
- Comfortable working remotely with clients and project teams
- Ability to travel approximately 25-40% of the time.
- What other skills, knowledge and qualifications are preferred in an Integration Architect?
- Hands on experience with multiple iPaaS solutions (Dell Boomi, Jitterbit, MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, Informatica Cloud).
- Awareness of web, database, and object-oriented software technologies.
- Experience working in or around configuration/administration in Salesforce, and development on the force.com platform.
- Experience integrating with various Salesforce products.
This position may require additional time and effort necessary during periods of heavy workload in order to meet project milestones and implementation deadlines. Hours and compensation for this position will vary depending on projects and experience.
