This position is primarily responsible for the creation, writing, and editing of many types of content. You will work implementing a wide variety of marketing communications activities to achieve quality lead generation, increased brand awareness, and improved customer retention by performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Research and analyze issues to generate ideas and obtain relevant facts.
Writing and collaborating with others to produce a draft, revising, editing, and proofreading the content to ensure quality.
Assists in the development of the marketing strategy and each initiative.
Participates as a member of niche committees in planning and implementing marketing strategies.
Assists the Marketing Director.
Oversees all marketing related activities, including electronic newsletters, seminars, webinars, direct mail campaigns, trade shows, client correspondence, etc.
Oversees contact management database and website.
Oversees marketing vendors (printing, collateral, branding, etc.)
Composes press releases, social media and interact with press.
Coordinates other marketing related activities.
OTHER SKILL, ABILITIES, AND QUALIFICATIONS:
3-5 years of marketing experience
Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis on marketing or a related field
Experience with CRM database management and maintenance
Strong understanding of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint, required
Strong in Web Content management
Understands Social Media marketing
Understanding of advertising and marketing principles
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Excellent project management skills
Design and layout experience a plus
Ability to work “cross functionally” in a fast paced and professional environment
Understanding Constant Contact a plus
Knowledge of Inkscape or like product a must
