Job Description
Operations Manager
Multi-disciplinary role that provides management support across all back of house operations. Will work out of our facility in DTLA.
Kitchen Facilities Management
- Oversee facility vendors, appointments and maintenance for kitchen, including:
- HVAC units
- Chocolate machines
- Plumbing
- Electrical
- Roofing maintenance/Leaks
- Pest Control
- Trash and Recycling SOPs – Environmental Waste Management Protocols
Customer Fulfillment Management (Back of house)
- Provide back of house support for fulfillment team:
- Prepare daily/weekly pick lists, shipping labels
- Oversee fulfillment schedule across customer channels
- Oversee quality control for fulfillment
- Source and train seasonal employees
Kitchen Management
- Fully trained on all Chocolate Operations to offer support for special projects and/high volume times of year
- Equipment inventory management, storage and rotation
- Plan and oversee production schedules
- Oversee vendor accounts and ordering
HR Support
- Ensure training manuals are up to date and accurate
- Ensures all team members are up to date on ServeSafe Certifications
- Provide support for misc HR tasks
Packaging Inventory Management
- Ensure appropriate inventory for packaging materials
- Ensure appropriate inventory for shipping materials
Qualifications & Skills
- Prior kitchen experience and/or project management experience
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Google suite (mail, sheets and slides) for communication

- Located in Los Angeles with possibility of remote 2-3 days a week
