Job Description

Summary/objective

The Operations Manager to facilitate and review restoration/construction jobs while expanding upon current carrier relationships within the designated territory. The Operations Manager is to display the highest levels of customer service when serving clients and carrying out the vision set forth by the corporation. This candidate will be hard-working, reliable, and a team player.

·        Manage Project Managers and Estimators within the Territory

·        Preform Inspections, Complete Estimates for Leads and Assigned Projects

·        Identify and Secure New Accounts

·        Acquire New Commercial and Insurance Related Accounts

·        Manage Budgets and Forecasts

·        Communicate And Negotiate with Insurance Carriers and Property Owners

·        Work together with the Corporate Office on Inquires and Collections

·        Exhibit Professionalism Always

·        Use DASH & Company Cam to Document All Projects

·        Monitor Job Sites for Safety Issues, Quality, and Training Opportunities

·        Monitor Field Employee Timesheets for Hourly Mitigation Team

·        Monitor Mitigation and Repair Projects for Customer Satisfaction and Hand-offs

·        Conduct Annual, Mid-Year, And 90-Day Performance Reviews with All Direct Report Team Members

·        Train And Coach Team Members That Operate Mitigation or Reconstruction Projects

·        Must be available 24/7

·        Travel: 30-50%

Supervisory Responsibilities

Overseeing all staff including vendor and subcontractor relationships

Office and administrative environments

Residential and commercial work sites

 

Physical Demands

Prolonged periods of sitting in vehicles and at a desk

Must be able to lift at least 15 pounds at a time

Prolonged periods of exposure to noise created by power tools, equipment, and heavy machinery

Exposure to standard work site environments

 

Travel required

Minimum travel outside the immediate operating area may be required

 

Required education and experience

●    At least five years of related experience in an Estimator or Project Manager level role within the Disaster Restoration Industry

 

Preferred education and experience

●    BA in business management

●    Three or more years experience as an Operations Manager or Department Manager equivalent level role

●    Working knowledge of Xactimate

●    IICRC certifications in Water, Fire, and Mold restoration 

●    Project Management related certifications and/or training
