As a member of the IT Development team, provide support to manufacturing facilities and IT in the adoption, integration, implementation, and life cycle of services and processes as it relates to Computer Integrated Manufacturing / Computer Numerically Controlled Machinery. Provide guidance and support to manufacturing(IT and Engineering) as it applies to Computer Integrated Manufacturing. Provide support for manufacturing plant IT activities, ensuring that the IT systems and equipment used in the manufacturing plant are running smoothly. Also responsible for troubleshooting and resolving any IT-related issues that arise in the plant.

Primary Responsibilities:Troubleshoot and resolve CNC and CIM issues as it relates to IT purposes.Provide training and support to plant support employees on the use of CNC and CIM applications.Support the process of collecting and translating business requirements into technical solutions as it applies to CNC and CIM operations.Provide technical direction with machine programming methods and standards.Management of CAM / CIM software licenses and upgrades.Support troubleshooting and resolution of IT-related issues that arise in the plant.Provide training and support to plant employees in the use of IT systems and equipment.Provide secure methods of uploading and downloading CNC programs.Execute IT activities within all IT process domains, focusing on application build and run tosupport local and global business needs.Assist Business Process Owners (BPOs) with gathering business requirements and facilitating the translation of those requirements into functional and technical design documents, especially as it applies to CNC and CIM operations.Supporting the installation, management, maintenance, and optimization of IT solutions and services.Consult with relevant stakeholders across the business to ensure compliance with RBC IT enterprise architecture.Provide leadership to 3rd party and internal IT resources, guiding and monitoring task completion, and sharing expert knowledge and advice.Provide technical recommendations based on objective evaluation of IT solutions.Collaborate with peers and management within the Dodge IT organization to provide world-class service to internal and external customers.Collaborate with RBC Corporate IT resources as needed.Ability to travel to Dodge manufacturing facilities for training, implementation, andTravel expectations not to exceed 50%

Knowledge / Experience / Skills:Bachelor’s degree in Information Management / Technology, or related fields (computer science, information science, software engineering, etc.).2 – 5 years related experience.CNC Operations Experience.3 – 5 years related experience.Exceptional analytical and communication skills.Familiar with shop floor automation solutions.Familiar with CNC operations.Familiarity with various CNC manufactures.Familiarity with various CAM / CIM applications.G-code processorsVericut, MultiDNC, FANUC MT-LINK, Cimco, Cimpro (APT), Solidworks, Solidworks CAM, Esprit, MasterCAM, GibbsCAM, ProE, SketchUp, AutoCADAbility to read / understand manufacturing drawings/blueprints.Demonstrated knowledge of at least one of:Microsoft .NET and C#Visual BasicReactPowerShellPythonJavaJavaScriptExperience with Microsoft Office 365 products (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, SharePoint).Self-starter, strong team player, and collaborator.Must have a work authorization that would permit them to work for Dodge Industrial in the US.Fluent in spoken and written English
